OK, I need to weave in a few ends and graft the underarms, but I will be wearing Banff to the busstop tomorrow morning. I just couldn't wait to take a picture (not a great one I know).
This was an amazingly easy and fun sweater to knit. It knit up fast, the only thing that slowed me down was the pit stop on the infamous Sleeve Island. Is it my fault that I was so seduced by the balmy air that I remained on the island all summer? In any event, my goal of wearing Banff this fall was met. SO there!!
I am now determined to spend the World Series working on the Einstein Coat I had hoped to wear by this Winter. I have to finish the back and one more sleeve side. My LYS has recieved some really wonderful buttons that would look great on this coat. I also am going to knit Sampler Scarf pattern in Turino Silk (this lovely rust shade). Of course, Noah's Weasley needs some attention too.
But, the big news is I finished a sweater for me!!!! Yipee!
Your Banff looks great! I stopped by on a whim to see where you were on it (you were very helpful to me on the increases last winter) and was rewarded with a FO pic.
Alas, my Banff in progress became a Sonnet, and is now becoming a poncho. This yarn is is on its way to having 9 lives.
Congrats on finishing. Looks very cozy and warm.

Hi,
I just found your blog when I linked to it from "the blue blog". Your Banff is great. I also browsed your other knitting photos and I was wondering if you remember where you got that hedgehog pattern? My daughter would love it. Thanks.

Banff looks spectactular, did you modify the pattern at all? Also, did you know Tipping The Velvet is out on DVD!! Netflix has it, we loved it. Almost better than the book.
